KC Continental

 

We discovered KC Continental recently. A community owned cafe at 26 Caledonian Road, near Kings Cross Station, London, we have used it for breakfast during two recent trips to London. It's a great place for Danish pastries. Well worth a visit.

Reviving the travel blog

 It has been 7 years since I last posted on this blog. I stopped in 2019 and did not return to it for a variety of reasons. Firstly I took on the role of carer for a friend which largely put an end to my travels. Also, I own and run a farm. I can't abandon my livestock just so I can go away for a few days. And then along came covid in 2020 and the rest is history.

But things have changed. Sadly, my friend passed away in 2021. On the farm we now have friends who are very happy to look after our livestock while we are away from home. And of course, covid is now a distant memory.

So watch out for forthcoming posts. To begin with, we are aiming to do more travel within the UK. We have not yet planned to go abroad but we are hoping to head overseas at some point over the coming months.
