I was in York for a conference so I didn't have much time to see the city. The conference was in the Barbican Centre opposite which is a section of the city's walls and Fishergate Bar (see photo above). That was where I was able to take the steps to the wall and take the short walk to Walmgate (see first photo below). I've walked other sections of the wall in the past but sadly this time I just had the opportunity to do this short section.
