The train journey from Washington DC to Baltimore was only an hour. On arrival we took a taxi to the Baltimore Harbour Hotel, our base for the next two days. It's not actually in the harbour. It's about a 10 minute walk away. We checked in and then headed out for lunch. The heatwave came with us from DC.
