I hadn't been on Eurostar since 2009, my last visit to Paris. Then we made the mistake of relying on the train's buffet car which had a gigantic queue. We topped up in M&S for sandwiches for the journey. Odd to think it takes an hour less to get to Paris from London as it does to get from London to Newcastle upon Tyne where I live.
