After a return to the hotel, we met up with the others at Quai de l'Hôtel de ville. Just a quick drink. It was chosen as it was close to the jetty for the boat trip that would take the others to the Eiffel Tower. We didn't have tickets and when we asked about the price, we decided it was significantly cheaper to go by taxi.
