We crossed to Ile Saint-Louis, one of the 2 natural islands on the Seine in Paris and headed up Rue Saint-Louis en L'Ile. All this walking in the sun was making us thirsty. We found Louis IX on Rue des Deux-Ponts.
I was surprised we eventually got served. The barman was more interested in talking to his friend and was a bit brusk when he did get round to dealing with me.
