Leaving Philadelphia for New York

9th August 2015 - A taxi took us from Philadephia Downton Marriott Hotel to the railway station. Breakfast was hurriedly eaten at a branch of Cosi and we boarded the train to New York Pennsylvania Station. We were beginning the last leg of our visit to the USA in a continuing heatwave. The Big Apple was sweltering so the air conditioning at our hotel was welcome. The Evelyn Hotel, on E 27th Street was our base for the next few days. We checked in to our room, unpacked and then headed out to find some lunch.
